“My father gave me the greatest gift anyone could give another person, he believed in me.” -Jim Valvano
For all things you’ve lead me through and taught me
And for promising me that you will never leave me
Through and through you’ve shown me the ropes
Helping me in anything and everything I face
Everyday you’re there for me by simply calling your name
Rarely do I get to thank you enough. So on this special day, I do exactly that.
Thank you for being my dad!
Hi Dad! I hope you’re reading this. So, it has been six months since I last saw him. Clearly, he visits us once in a year but because of his work problems, he can’t sometimes. Though it has always been a short time but we always have a great time bonding with him. I should totally thank dad for being the coolest and most awesome dad ever. I could still remember him playing hiding seek and “monster monster” with us just for us to have fun and have a day without boredom. It was truly one of the best days in my life. For others it was just a simple play time but for me, it was one of the greatest bondings with my dad.
One thing I love about my dad is because he’s not a killjoy type of person. As you can see, he can bond with teens like me. He loves to play games. And doesn’t stop me from doing things if he knows it’s a good thing for me. He’s my supporter. He has always guided and instilled wisdom in me my entire life. He has promised countless times that he loves me. He has promised countless times that he will never leave me. He will always be my hero, my Superman and no one can change that.
